The Scourtinerie is excited to announce the release of its new Piqueuse à Olives 2.0, an evolution of the iconic machine that has revolutionized olive pricking for years.
A Story of Tradition and Innovation
In 1890, under the initiative of Ferdinand Fert, founder of La Scourtinerie, the first olive pricking machine was created. This innovation, born in Drôme Provençale, transformed the olive processing industry by simplifying and speeding up this delicate task.
More than 130 years later, Sophie Villeneuve, head of development at La Scourtinerie, has relaunched production of this machine, modernizing it to meet the current needs of olive producers. She collaborated with Vincent Mussigmann from Tulette, a mechanical expert, to bring this flagship product back to life while enhancing its functionalities.
